Mario is professional. His explanations are clear, step by step and it enables to progress. His is very patient and calm. Best coach I had so far (and probably won’t find better in the futur)

Me encantaron las clases, Kite es un deporte retador y Mario tuvo mucha paciencia conmigo, aclaro todas mis dudas y me explico con mucha paciencia, ya que al principio tenia miedo, y al final me sentí segura con el kite el lugar esta muy bien ubicado y tiene espacio para descansar, comer y la playa con mucho espacio para hacer kite.

I had amazing kitesurfing classes at High Life! Caro was a great instructor - highly experienced and a skilled teacher. I had Mario for my fourth class and was equally impressed with him. I was able to stand up on the board by that fourth class and can now kite solo thanks to both of them! Their prices are really good for the area. They have brand new equipment and a beachfront location with shallow water perfect for kitesurfing. I would highly recommend it for beginners or for more experienced people who want a great teacher to perfect their skills or learn to kite foil, as they also have the equipment and skills for that.

If you want to feel comfortable learning to kitesurf as a beginner, I highly recommend High Life Kitesurfing School. I tried several schools in Progreso. Mario, is a professional, always positive and ready for questions. He gave me the best tips on getting up on the board. I felt like I made the most progress under his guidance. He speaks excellent English which is important if you don't speak Spanish. has equipment adapted to the weather conditions, I will never forget lessons in the open bay. His girlfriend Caro who helps him is always ready to help. You will be in good hands and when you ask, they will film your lessons and send you the material. I recommend 100% and if I come back to Merida I'm going back to High life Kitesurfing School. Thank you !

El comienzo de mi curso fue muy emocinante! iniciando con la identificación de los elementos que son parte de esta divertida actividad extrema y los aspectos de seguridad que siempre debemos tener presentes. La adrenalina vino cuando comenzamos a sentir el poder del Kite! Mi instructora siempre estuvo ahí apoyándome, muy paciente y motivándome a lograrlo! Una actividad muy recomentable que te hace ir más allá, descubrir nuevas emociones! Gracias a Caro!!! y en general a la escuela HighLife por su soporte, me gustó mucho la vibra de los Kiteros!

Mario es un excelente instructor, muy amable y con mucha paciencia para enseñar super atento las instalaciones muy buenas, y el equipo en excelentes condiciones igual, super experiencia lo disfruté mucho

Me encantaron mis clases en highlife kitesurfing!. El método de enseñanza de los instructores estuvo de acuerdo a mis necesidades y objetivos del curso, en todo momento me apoyaron y motivaron para seguir progresando y fueron pacientes cuando algo se me dificultaba. El equipo que tienen para los cursos está en perfectas condiciones y tenían variedad de medidas para cambiar de kite en caso que el viento estuviera ligero o más fuerte. Disfruté mis clases, disfruté el tiempo con highlife y sin duda regreso en otro momento.

Working with Mario and NE Kite school has been a wonderful experience so far. I'll definitely be going back for more. Mario was thorough, precise, knowledgeable, patient, and extremely positive and encouraging. He gave me great personalized advice to alter mistakes and build good habits. Great teacher, I would highly recommend seeking Mario out as an instructor. After a day of lessons I feel much more confident in my abilities and knowledge.

Instructors are super professionals and teach very well. There is a super good vibe in the school. The material is almost new and the security is at the center of the school's philosophy. Also I really appreciated that if the lessons were planned accordingly to the forecast. Thanks to them I learned really fast. Next steps jumps ;)

Mario is an excellent very clear and patient instructor. He has enough experience and observes, guide and fix any problems in the Kitesurf lesson with the right techniques and knowledge making fell you confident all time. I take lessons with my daughter and Mario will explain for her and for me.
