Got some amazing kite lessons from Rick, after which I was able to perform the water start! The lessons were organized in a professional way and the instructors were very flexible to ensure we could make use of the best wind conditions.

I learned the fundamentals of kitesurfing in Sicily. Rick was very patient and gave immediate, clear feedback on how to improve each step, then encouraged me to try again. Since we had several days of lessons, each session began with a review of what we had learned before. Which was really valuable, especially since conditions can vary daily due to the wind or using a different kite. You’re encouraged to progress at your own pace. Thanks to Rick’s calm approach, detailed explanations, and helpful guidance, I felt increasingly confident to move forward. I would definitely recommend Rick as a kitesurfing instructor.

I had a great experience with Rick! He is very calm and patient, which made me feel comfortable on the water. He gives you the space to try things out for yourself, but always keeps a close eye on safety which he clearly takes very seriously. I felt supported the whole time and could progress at my own pace. Highly recommended!

I took a lesson with Rick last week in Sicily and he helped me get the water start down in just one day. He has a good eye for the surroundings, is always ready to help others, and gave me the confidence to go out on the water by myself, which I really appreciated. Also a great guy to have a beer or two with after the session.

Rick is a very competent and enthusiastic instructor, perfect for getting to know the sport. He teaches in a very relaxed manner, alternating teaching methods such as direct instruction, trying things out for yourself and giving examples. His feedback is on point and he pinpoints the mistakes you make by replicating them himself, which makes it easy to visualise what goes wrong and to correct it in the next try. Lessons are adapted to skill level and wind conditions on the fly/spot to get the maximum out of the available teaching hours. I learned a lot from the course and can recommend Rick to anyone as I am eager to continue my kiting journey!

It was my first time on a kite. We went to Denmark to kite on a Fjord which has been fun. The first day we had good wind so we went on te water to learn to control the kite, we were glad with that because it turned out to be the first of only 3 days with enough wind to kite. On the days without wind we did our safety courses which were handy if you were te be in trouble on the water. It has been a blast learning to kite with Rick. He saw that I got the hang of it and let me take more advanced steps faster which resulted that I could down the wind with ease and even learned how to go upwind. I was very happy with the result, learned a lot in just 3 days with wind that I now got my 3J level achieved and I would recommend Rick to everybody

His friendly and approachable attitude made every lesson enjoyable and stress-free.
