Welcome to our kite school in Sri Lanka located next to the beautiful Kappalady Lagoon in Kalpitiya Peninsula of Sri Lanka’s West Coast. ​We have expanded the Kite Center by adding a shop and building additional storage booths for our kitesurfing guests, making 2017 and onwards better than ever before! We have added some coconut sun-umbrellas on the beach for a cool down time between kite sessions. Guests can have a perfect end to their day with a refreshing sundowner drink at our barefoot beach bar. We have equipped the Kite Center with top quality kite equipment, and are putting our focus on good maintenance and care for perfect functionality. Maintaining high standards in our kite school Sri Lanka is, always, our first priority. All of our Instructors are IKO-qualified and up-to-date certified. That means you'll know you're getting world-renowned standards of instruction at our Kite School in Sri Lanka, and you'll be able to pick up where you left off with any other IKO instructors around the world, as our teaching follows the IKO methods and high standards.

AMAZING kite surfing course at Margarita. My instructor Ajlan was absolutely fantastic breaking down technique, providing hands on practice, and firm and clear instructions and feedback. Ajlan demonstrated incredible patience and flexibility based on weather and my ability. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Kite Centre Sri Lanka is a wonderful place to kitesurf. The instructors are so friendly and helpful and they really want you to succeed. The equipment is all in really good condition and is really good. We had a great time in the Kite Centre Sri Lanka and our kiting really progressed from only have gotten up ones or twice before to getting up every time, going upwind and tacking. I would highly recommend Kite Center Sri Lanka it as a really special place.

Thanks to Hashan I can finally kite. After completing various courses in Morocco and South Africa, I never managed to get started in the water. This was the second and third time we tried to learn kite surfing with my husband and Hashan was the best. His experience and professionalism showed on how we advanced in the classes, making us feel safe and understanding every step. He was also very patient and supportive. The kite school is also amazingly located with great equipment and facilities

Ben is a great instructor. I'll admit, kiteboarding is harder than I thought it would be -- but Ben was always patient, and cheered my successes. We spent a lot of time on kite handling and fundamentals and safety, and I can see a clear line to improvement. Thank you!

The whole course was really great, our examiner Xavier was smart and knew everything thing about kites and stuff plus he kept us motivated the whole time and cleared all our doubts . The place where we did the course was awesome , the employees were really supportive and helpful . Overall it was a great experience!

I recently had the pleasure of taking kitesurfing lessons with Benoit, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the very start, it was clear that he was incredibly passionate about kitesurfing. This passion translated into an engaging and motivating learning experience. What stood out the most was his patience. While I wasn't a complete beginner, I still had a lot to learn, and he was excellent at identifying and addressing my specific needs. He provided insightful tips and techniques that significantly improved my skills. His ability to break down more advanced concepts into manageable steps made the learning process enjoyable and effective. Thanks to him, I not only honed my kitesurfing abilities but also gained the confidence to enjoy the sport even more. The lesson I took was a semi-private lesson with my girlfriend. Ben was very keen on safety and explained everything very well. He took his time and as my girlfriend and I progressed at a different level he really adapted to our needs perfectly. He gave us confidence and with his happy cheering we had a great lesson and learned a lot.

Elements Resort is a wonderful and relaxing place to learn something new. The combination of warm, shallow waters with a chill instructor made my learning experience perfect! Hassan has a wonderful temperament and is very knowledgeable.
