Rony's teaching style is 100% hands on and focused on the impotant things you need to know to progress to the the next step. I got individualized input in each lesson that pushed me in a good way out of my comfort zone, so that i could learn quickly.

I have been learning with Ronnie since 2016. I can't remember if I paid for 5 or 10 hours of lessons but got my money's worth regardless. Since teaching me the basics on the beach, with a strong focus on safety and kite control, Ronnie has been a guide and kiting mentor. He has always been welcoming and supportive whenever I have been on the beach and has introduced me to the wider community of kitesurfers on the island. I travel to Cyprus about 1 or 2 times a year and connecting with Ronnie and Kiteflex is always a priority for me. Not only does he provide a great learning environment but he provides well priced kite services and equipment. The lessons were great - all equipment was well maintained and looked after and safety was always the number 1 priority. Ronnie is patient but also makes sure you are progressing, keeping you just outside of your comfort-zone to help you see measurable improvements in kiting ability. Huge kudos to Ronnie and Kiteflex Cyprus. His enthusiasm and passion for kiting was infectious for me and I appreciate all the support and guidance over the years. Cyprus is a great place to learn how to kitesurf and Ronnie is the major catalyst for promoting the popularity of the sport. Thank you for everything Ronnie! See you on the water very soon!

I love Roland & Kiteflex. This school was absolutely amazing, I was able to accomplish all my goals by the time I finished my lessons. I got up on the board and was riding confidently along with having the best time. Roland is the best in all of Cyprus! An amazing person, coach & friend. Kiteflex store front had the best collection of items as well.

I took kiteboarding lessons with Ronny, and I must say, the experience was great. Safety was the top priority throughout our sessions. The instructor demonstrated profound knowledge and skill in kiteboarding, and his emphasis on safety protocols was reassuring. He meticulously explained and demonstrated each step, from handling the kite to managing different water conditions. Moreover, his passion for kiteboarding was contagious, making each lesson not only educational but also incredibly enjoyable. We were finally able to go. it was a long journey with different instructors. We felt safe here, Rony helped if something did not work out. There are different equipment, including for children, it is very convenient and useful.

Ronnie is a great tutor. Only problem I had was sometimes to schedule together and maybe communication was not the smoothest. Sometimes I was scheduled for private lesson and was together with 3 other guys. But what matters is an effect and this one is good. Ronnie thought me how to kite and that is the most important effect :P

I have experienced Roland (Ronnie) as a first class instructor with an absolute passion for kite surfing. Ronnie first of all created an amazing scene and atmosphere for his lessons; one of the finest beaches of Cyprus, a beach bar, and Ronnie built facilities like (hot) shower, toilet, dressing room, storage and has an abundance of equipment he is always willing to borrow you. Ronnie is easy going, has strong communication skills, is fun and passionate about his lessons, his students and the nature / area he works with. What I like about Ronnie's teaching style is that theory is quite quickly combined with practice which makes it so much easier to learn. The biggest complement I want to give Ronnie, is that he ALWAYS has your back. What ever happens, even if you are not a student (anymore) and kite surfing on your own, whenever you are in trouble, Ronnie will be there to assist / help you.

Great school and instructor, one of the best in Cyprus. Rony is doing a lot for his students, keeping all the situation on the spot under control. You can be sure in your safety even outside the lesson and if you need any help you will get it

We had an awesome experience learning kitesurfing with Rony in Cyprus. He was super flexible, easy and got the most out of the short time (10hrs). Perfect mix of theory and practical exercises. Got out with board and kite already on the first day. Rony was very attentive, considerate and taught us as much as possible. Definitely want to continue the experience!

Roni was a very good instructor and teached us the basics in calm and helpful way. We managed it to stand on the board after a few hours and looking forward to visit him again, when we are back in cypress. The equipment was in good condition and I even get a new swim suit to use 🙂 The area to surf is also very positive to rate.
