Otto y su escuela fueron muy profesionales en todo momento. Me senti super seguro y tranquilo al realizar el entrenamiento. Otto tiene una metodologia muy practica y compañado de mucha paciencia lo que hace que uno como alumno se sienta comodo con su compañia y pueda absorber de mejor manera los conocimientos. Sus instalaciones y equipos son de muy alta calidad. A la vez, sus estandares de seguridad son muy altos lo que me hizo sentir seguro en todo momento.

Otto Is a great teacher, able to give different examples of the same subject to better explain a technical kitesurf topic. The ATC and ITC were tough but Otto and the whole group was supportive so that made the 2 weeks very fun and productive.

I am a rider/instructor who has one arm, no prosthetic. I am also a designer/fabricator Q1.8 I am working on a tool which will enable me to safely perform the IKO standard self rescue. Unfortunately I haven’t figured the board recovery one out yet but watch this space. I haven’t recovered a rider body dragging yet, it just hasn’t come up. IKO level 4, I’m not sure. I downloop waterstart in both directions, I jump in both directions, I backroll on a port tack, haven’t intentionally managed it on the starboard tack yet. I have excellent kite control and, as far as I know I’m one of a tiny number of truly one armed Kiteboarders in the World. I will be sending video evidence. Thank you for your time

I travelled all the way from Peru to Margarita Island in Venezuela to take my ATC ¬ ITC with Otto from Venturi Kite and had no idea of what I had coming. first of all I have to say that I had the best kitesurfing experience ever, the spot is amazingly beautiful and has the friendliest people as wel, even the dogs are awsome. Otto, is an incredible instructor from wich I feel I learned the most, he will be both your friend and your sensei, I highly recommend taking both courses, personally cant wait to come back and keep learning, definitely stoked \o/ La mejor experiencia de kitesurfing de todos los tiempos, las instalaciones de la escuela son brutales y las personas que trabajan alli son geniales, con Otto seguramente vas a aprender un monton, su forma de explicar es muy buena y durante todo el tiempo hay muchisimo feedback, el va a ser tu amigo y tu instructor, recomiendo altamente hacer ambos cursos alla y ademas el de primeros auxilios, fue muy divertido recibir una actualizacion en este tema, en resumen una experiencia que no tiene precio, ya quiero volver y aprender un poco mas.

en lo personal, para mi fue una experiencia increíble! 1000 puntos a esta organización que se ocupa en hacer que los instructores y el deporte suba de nivel y así mismo las escuelas!

I took three lessons with Otto, and I was impressed at how quickly I have managed to learn with him. He was very patient, clear in his instructions, and always ready to find different ways to teach me when he saw I was struggling. Thanks to him, I have discovered a passion for a new sport!

Fueron 4 dias de un aprendizaje maravilloso, lleno de cosas nuevas, con un instructor lleno de paciencia, tacto y buena voluntad al ahora de enseñar. Definitivamente no puedo estar mas contenta y entusiasmada con mi experiencia en esta escuela, ya quiero volver!!

La escuela desde que entras te hacen sentir como en casa, cuentan con un material muy bueno, profesores capacitados que en todo momento están velando siempre por la seguridad del alumno y las instalaciones espectaculares!! Sin duda uno de los mejores sitios para aprender Kite de Margarita.

I bought a great package for a week including a kite course at Venturi Kite and a stay at the Beach House in el Yaque. Otto took me to Cubagua and Coche and also to the lagoon in el Yaque, all with flat water and perfect to perfectionate your kite skills. All kite spots were amazing and Otto is without any doubt the best instructor on Isla Margarita with the most professional gear for rent and a boat for rescue if needed. Safety is also key when you do courses with him, which is not always apriority of the local instructors. I would highly recommend his school.

am 60 y.o. and was impressed with the beauty of kiting once I came to Margarita Island. People, kiting on the whit warm beach looks so amazing. I told to myself if they do, I can do it, and went straight to the best local school “Venture” headed by Mr. Otto Insum. He assigned me one of his instructors Paulo. This gentleman honestly spent time sharing his experience and knowledge. I got lots of emotions and every day came deadly tired but happy. This adventure was full of emotions and happiness.
