RADICAL KITE CENTER

I already did many sports courses, like snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, etc. However, this course was by far the one where I felt the largest progress in the least amount of time. The instructor was super nice, calm and competent. I recommend Radical kite center to anyone thinking about starting with kiting nearby Nea Kios.

Pantelis from Radical Kite Center is a very good, calm, clear and professional teacher. The course includes explaining all the necessary theory and safety information while staring fast and effectively with the action itself. In small groups Pantelis makes sure that in a short time everyone follows the step by step learning and gets their chance on practical trial and error and learn from each other’s mistakes. Everyone made big progress in our group of 3 in a short time. I felt that I had gained good kite control before getting to the water start. Having the confidence in my kite control the water start felt easy and safe. Next to that he’s very nice guy and accommodating and communicative as the head of the kite center with making appointments based on weather etc. About the ratings: the kite center is cozy and basic and has everything you need but only thing missing is toilet. I gave safety 4 in all honesty because I did have a small accident, based on pure bad luck. Way further up from the practice spot there are some occasional rocks that it’s good to be aware of in this spot, but in terms of the safety content of the course I think it was perfect. I feel that we always took great care of safety and Pantelis was always pointing out important points related to safety or safety mistakes while training and I feel that I have good understanding of what precautions you need to take and what mistakes you need to avoid. All in all it’s a perfect beginners course experience.

The teacher was very friendly and relaxed, taking the course step by step. First handling the kite with short lines, to safely control the kite. We took time for all the steps necessary to get to the end goal, water start. After the lessons I was welcome to continue kiting on the spot with own gear, still getting tips and tricks from Pantelis during practice. Learned the basics properly, now looking forward to learn more by practice.

Very good kite school and very good kite instructor! I can recommend this kite school. The location is very good for beginners, nice shallow water, not too crowded with too many kiters. And Pantelis is one of the best kite instructors I've ever had. He is friendly, he knows how to teach and he is patient and respectful. He takes away your fears with his calm and professional manner. I'm looking forward to my next visit at Radical Kite Center! Comparing to my kite school experience in Sardinia, Fuerteventura, Netherlands and Rhodes, this one was the best! Thank you :-)

Very chilled and relaxed kite school, which still has top organized lessons. It has been my 3rd kite trip, every one was different. Pantelis was a very friendly and nice, still having a very structured and holistic approach to teaching kite. Due to my previous experience I would have liked to progress a little faster and not do the whole package again, but I still learned some nice details I have not been taught before. The only real downside to the spot itself are some rocks in the bay, with cnidarians on it, which according to my girlfriend hurt a lot, if your legs get caught by them. But if you watch out and don’t go near them, you should be fine. Overall a very nice and fun kite experience.

I took private lessons and learned a lot. Pantelis is a great teacher, very patient and also flexible in scheduling the lessons. The spot is really good for learning to control the kite, because it’s shallow. Highly recommended.

I was originally going to do only one session with with Pantelis but he was so helpful that I stayed an extra day in town to do the second session with him. He breaks technique down step-by-step and encourages you at each step. He knows when to push you to drill a specific part of the technique and when to advance you to the next step. He was also a pleasure to work with - very friendly.

I was very skeptical that you can learn how to Kite Surf in just 6 hours. Biting the bullet, I'm enrolling for the lessons. Worst case was that I would learn the basics for Kite Surf. At my 50s and without any prior knowledge of any kind about boards (I don’t even know how to skateboard 😂) my expectations was really low. But the people at Radical Kite Center did not care about that at all! On the second day and just after 1 hour of theory and explanations about body, board and kite positioning, I manage to make my first water start !!! These guys are phenomenal!! Radical Kite Center team are truly passionate and professional people. They spot my mistakes in every step I was making, and patiently they guiding me with actions and encourage me all the way. The result was so unexpected for me !!! Radical Kite Center is highly recommended!!! One of the best places to learn and do kitesurf!!! 👍 Lunch your kite and have fun kitesurfing 🤙
