Robbie Andersen

I can only say the best things about Robbie Andersen and the IKO course at Keros Limnos. He is a great teacher with a lot of patience and understanding. The experience he has in the sport is amazing. He always has a smile and takes time for answering each question. At the end is he is a great person and a very good mentor. Thanks Robbie :)

It was literally one of the best experiences when it comes to kitesurfing, I learned more than I could have imagined. In such a positive and enthusiastic vibe it was really fun to participate in the course. Thank you Robbie Andersen.

Robbie was very open-minded and adapted the course to the spot I will be teaching. This was wonderful. However, I would not recommend doing an IKO course on Lake Garda for the lack of beach space. It became really complicated.

I think that the organization of this course is very good in general, I appreciate very much the IKO format. But the real difference to rise up to a level of real exellence has been made by the ability of our Examiner Robbie Andersen. His professionalism, accuracy and passion for his work is a priceless resource.

En General, todo el proceso de capacitación por parte de Robbie fue excelente. Cada día fue puntual con el horario, cronograma de actividades y sobretodo una buena actitud en las clases. Lo que creo que seria bueno, es incluir dentro de las clases videos pedagógicos donde se muestren situaciones comunes que el instructores vive a diario en las clases. Esto le daría un poco mas de dinamismo al tiempo que se pasa en el salón de clases, a demás también seria una buena herramienta para contrarrestar los días sin vientos. Por lo demás, me ciento muy contento y lo mas importante capacitado para brindar un cervicio de forma segura al alumno.

The center was not really up and running yet so we had to do with sparse equipment. But it worked out really well anyway. Our instructor was very good and I was very pleased with how extensive the material was that we went through.

The whole lesson was very good and the real students gave it a realistic point of view. We didn't manage to get any real student further than body dragging and we missed the demonstration of steady pull, waterstart and riding efforts from a student. Due to lack of time and wind, it would be very useful to include some videos of failed waterstarts and analysis of what is wrong in each case, that way the candidates can get into the mentality of spotting the mistakes and providing constructive feedback based on the IKO standards.
