Nelson was a very kind and professional teacher - patient and cared very much about my safety . He took his time and didn’t rush me. He gave his personal time when our course went over time due to wind conditions and my level of comfort. Really great instructor overall !

Nercio is the kindest most easy going and patient teacher I have had, the way he walks you through everything and asks if there are any areas that need more explanation or clarification is just amazing! I think there were some parts that were confusing (granted being a new sport for me) but When I asked for an explanation he was more then happy to deep dive into what I needed to understand. The way Nercio goes through each step and makes sure your comfortable before moving to the next part is really reassuring and I really feel as though I have learnt how to properly kiteBoard!

As a family of five we spent a week at VilanCool, trying kite surfing when there was wind (and scuba diving when it was calm). We found Nercio and his team to be extremely attentive, patient, kind, encouraging and enthusiastic. There was more than enough equipment of good quality for three of us to be kite flying simultaneously whilst supervised sufficiently to feel safe. Nercio was very attentive and asked frequently how I felt when flying the kite (surprising how quickly a neck can ache when held in a new position!). I thoroughly recommend Nercio and Vilancool as a kite surfing centre. Remember “long arms”!

Nercio at VilanCool, Vilanculo, provided the most incredible experience during my six hours of kiteboarding lessons. I was extremely nervous to fly a kite at first and by the end of the course, appreciating being able to go at a speed I was comfortable with, I felt elated when I flew for a few seconds after my second waterstart lesson. I would highly recommend Nercio and VilanCool to all of my friends. Nercio had the patience of a saint, and safety was paramount at every stage of my development. I decided to take Kite lessons at Vilancool as directly from my first conversation with Nercio I had a very good feeling. Nercio took the time to explain everything step by step in a very clear way, always with safety first in mind, while being really patient and kind. He was really flexible to take a break when I needed it. The equipment is all in perfect conditions, my partner also rented Kite equipent himself and was really satisfied. The location, Vilancool, is unbeatable with a nice terrace to relax and a besutiful view of the white sand beach, and all the staff was really friendly. I would recommend Nercio to anyone, both beginners and advance, I had the pleasure to see him kite and he is really skilled.

Nercio is a great kiter who teached us well structured first the basics, explained about safety and the equipment and the handling and manoevering of the kite. I learned a lot and looking for my next lessons. Great job Nercio!

We had a great time in Mozambique and with our kite instructor Nercio in Vilankulo. The kite school VilanCool is perfectly equipped and you will find an amazing atmosphere and a wonderful beach setup just in front of the shop.

I am so grateful to have done this training lessons with Nerçio, he is such a good teacher, kite surfer and above all, a good person, he is very serious with security and teach you step by step how to ride your kite securely, you feel secure and you end up after a few hours surfing and managing your kite. I think also that the place is one of the best in the world to learn the kite surf as at low tide, the beach is gigantic with white sand, no shells that could cut your feet...and all of that in paradise with awesome people from VilanCool. I did the basic 8 hours course with nelson, the course was amazing and super fun. Nelson is extremely talented and he is an amazing and caring teacher. he even kept in touch with me to make sure that I'm getting into the sport. I feel very confident about doing kite ony own.
