Florian van Dort

Florian is a passionate professional. She is flexible in her lesson schedule and an exellent teacher. She responded well to feedback and has a keen eye on the little technical details that matter when making progression. I can certainly recommend her and will come back in the future when my skills have improved.

What a great experience it was. Great location, especially for learning to kite. Great teacher, who adapted the training to the progress she noticed. This way we were able to run through the material of 2 sessions in this first session. Unfortunately the wind fell at the end of the afternoon, so I was not able to start the next step, working with the board. Unfortunately, I had to leave and did not had the opportunity to finish off the training. Hope to do this soon. Who knows, it might be back in Holbox.

Very friendly and supportive. I have had some lessons some years ago but the conditions weren’t optimal. She gave me new insights (some gear changes for example). She pushed me when necessary, but made sure I felt completely safe. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher.

Had my first contact with kitesurfing at Mifune and then continued with a few classes. It was awesome! The staff is super helpful and kind. The material is good quality and the teachers very qualified! I recommend!

Flo is a great teacher having a great amount of knowledge on kitesurfing, but also the weather, wind and with it related safety issues. Moreover, she's able to let to you explore the kite, the board giving advice exactly when necessary making it easy to progress!
