ALLAN KHAN

I started my kite journey in the end of December at Machete Wing Surf Kite & Foil in Punta Chame, Panama and had an amazing time! Allan, my kite instructor, did an awesome job teaching me everything from basics like waterstart to safety and spot management to more detailed riding technique and accompanied me from the very beginning to my current level. He was very knowledgeable and emphatic and put in effort to push me responsibly to always give my best. Over the course I’ve always felt safe and became confident to try out new things and expand my skill set. I am really thankful for this experience and can now proudly after almost three months here call kiting my new favorite watersport and Machete and this community my second home and Allan a good friend of mine. I would totally recommend this kiting school as well as the teachers here and the spot in general, for beginners as well as advanced kiters.

I recently completed a kitesurfing course, and I must say it was an exhilarating experience! The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and created a safe learning environment. I feel confident in my skills now and would highly recommend this course to others eager to dive into the world of kitesurfing

It was an excellent experience. We went over a lot of safety and I felt prepared when the winds picked up. Allan was knowledgeable and well prepared to teach me what I needed to know. Looking forward to many more years of kite boarding!!

Had a fantastic time at the facility. Good people when it came to staff and guests. Made one completely welcome, took active interest in how one was progressing and completely put one at ease throughout. Enjoyed every moment.

Machete Kites was an awesome kite school, they provided everything I needed for equipment, plus more; like clothing to protect me from jellyfish and the sun. The facilities matched the area that it is located in (Punta Chame, Panama) with outdoor showers that were handy after being in ocean water and on the beach for hours. They answered all my questions before and after receiving lessons and were very safety conscientious throughout the course by helping me correct any mistakes I made immediately. Allan was an awesome teacher with lots of knowledge and experience, he could spot and correct the tiniest mistake and was always very calm but assertive and always maintained high safety standards. I would definitely recommend Machete to any beginner, I also hope to be back one day with more experience to show Allan! Loved my course, thank you!
