Cilff was a very informative and friendly instructor during the course at Matas Bay. I'd tried to do lessons by myself before and it really clicked and made sense when doing the 1:1 lessons with Cliff, taking me from just about board starting to riding upwind on both sides. Tolle Kitestation, mit sehr freundlichen Personal und sehr gute Kite Lehrer die dir per Headset immer gute Tipps geben und mit dem Jetski sofort und wenn nötig zur Seite stehen. Der Aufbau des Kite ist auf einem extra dafür vorgesehen Platz sehr gut möglich. Der Einstig ins Wasser ist entgegen vielen Berichten trotz Steinigen-Sandstrand easy und für diejenigen die zartbesaitet sind empfehle ich Wassersport Schuhe. Ein grosses Dankeschön in Richtung Stationsteam und ein grosses Merci Ancor für deine Geduld und kurzen aber effektiven Tipps. Sehr gerne wieder Matas Bay👍💪

I had a great experience learning kitesurfing with Cliff. He really took the time to focus on the basics, which helped build a solid foundation. I appreciated that he never pushed me to move on to the next step unless I felt completely safe and ready. His patience made a big difference—especially since kitesurfing turned out to be more challenging than I expected. Despite that, Cliff made the whole experience a lot of fun, and I’m genuinely happy with the progress I made. I’m already looking forward to coming back and learning more! Thanks!

It was my first time standing on a surfboard, i‘ve only ever stood on a SUP. Cliff, my kite-teacher, explained everything to me from zero, in a way that i could comprehend everything and understand it quickly. He taught me a lot of details, and also all the important self rescue and safety measures. Cliff was mindful and extremely friendly in the way he interacted with me, and when i inevitably messed something up, he reacted calm and was very reasuring. All in all i had a great time learning kitesurfing with Cliff, i don‘t think i could‘ve asked for a better teacher to start my kite-adventures with.

The course took place with a private instructor, which in my opinion is the best way to learn kitesurfing. I am very satisfied of the quality of lessons. Michele Colapinto is very professional and has an enormous knowledge. Thanks to him, I felt safe and I made a huge progress. From the first moment I knew I am in a good hands. He takes his job very seriously. This was my first experience with kitesurfing and I am looking forward to learn more! Michele explained everything in a simple understandable way. Already during the second lesson I felt that I was starting to have control over the kite, even though I had never done it before. Michele shared important tips with me and answered all my questions. I am not a good swimmer, I am scared of deep water, speed and height. But thanks to Michele I felt safe and wanted to fight with my fears. This is was my first course but definitely not last! :)

Mattas Bay was great to start my kite surfing journey. Suse ist super helpfull, so was Zoe! My Teacher was Luca, great guy! Very patient and understanding where he has to explain more theory to a newbie like me. All in all a great expirience and i am looking forward to take further lessons.

My Instructor Luca was a very good teacher. He teached me everything and had very good tips. With him I was able to learn kiting very fast. The Service at Matas Bay was very good to. Very flexible and very nice. The Conditions can be tough on Matas Bay but the Team made the Kitesurfing Start very easy.

Luca was an amazing instructor! In all the hours we practice together he had such a determination to help me improve my life skills! His positive energy and teaching skills was such a joy to be out on the waters with him and how he explained step by step what I have to do helped a lot! I would absolutely recommend Luca as a instructor!
