KiteMotion Kitesurfing School Diani Beach Kenya

This was my first time in Diani Beach, Kenya, and I can tell you that the KiteMotion Kitesurfing School spot is great for beginners. Since I already knew the basics, my instructor and I worked on my water start. I started taking lessons with Matteo, who was very encouraging and made learning really fun. Later, since he was busy with Italian students, I switched to Wojciech, who gave me excellent tips for improving my water start technique. After three days of non-stop lessons, which were amazing, I wanted to take a few extra courses to become an independent rider. Unfortunately, due to my allergies, I couldn’t continue, which made me quite sad. Overall, I learned many valuable tips and had the chance to discover my potential. I will never give up and will do my best to improve in this sport. I am definitely planning to go back to Diani Beach next year, and I hope I can find Wojciech there, as I was really impressed with his way of teaching technique 🙏🏻 Thank you, KiteMotion. I'd had a bad first experience with kite surf one year ago and was a bit hesitant on trying again, but Julieta reassured me. She gave me explanations in detail on how the kite and the wind works. Using different examples to make sure I understood the technique. She made sure I was feeling safe at all times. She adapted the teaching to my rhythm and encourage me to move forward when she thought I was ready. To my own surprise I advanced at a very high speed and quickly understood the feeling of the kite. Thanks so much Julieta for your dedication and passion. Not only you are a great teacher, but one can really tell that you love the sea and you have many years of experience in sailing, and understanding how the wind works!

Cezary is a great instructor, patient, explaining all the ins and outs of the sport in an understandable way, and devoting a lot of attention and care to the student. He communicated any failures or mistakes I made in a way that wasn't unpleasant or discouraging, but rather encouraging. I highly recommend this instructor, especially to those who have had lessons with other teachers and haven't progressed. Of course, I wholeheartedly recommend Kitemotion school and rental. I had the pleasure of attending their lessons and using their excellent equipment last year in Kenya, Egypt, and again this year in Kenya. So see you next time:))

The course was very comprehensive and interesting. Even though we had a lot of theory, practice and homework I got all answers for all my questions on the way and within every day I felt progress, more understanding and confidence. Also while having practice with real students Maciej was always ready to support and explain. His experience was invaluable, real gem. I'm excited to start giving lessons and use all what I've learned.

Safety in kitesurfing means being careful and smart while having fun. Always check your equipment before you start, make sure the wind is safe, and choose a clear spot without rocks or people. Keep an eye on others in the water and know how to use your safety systems. Don’t try anything too difficult if you’re not ready, and always respect other kiters and the beach. Staying safe helps everyone enjoy kitesurfing and keeps the sport fun for all.

Absolutely amazing spot! Wide beach, stunning lagoon, and hardly anyone on the water – the perfect place to learn, progress, try new tricks, or just enjoy pure kiteboarding fun. 🏖️ The base is super well-organized, with top-notch gear and a chill-out area with sunbeds where you can relax between your sessions. The contact with Agnieszka and the crew – flawless, both before and during the trip. Super clear communication, quick responses, and all the info you need. 🫶🏻 Course with Oskar – such a great vibe, loads of knowledge and useful tips, a super supportive attitude and I felt completely safe the whole time. Fast progress and a lot of fun! 🪁🏄🏼‍♀️ Rental– everything was smooth and easy. The gear was always ready to go, and the team was on the beach watching out and helping whenever needed – including a rescue boat, which once came in very handy near the reef.🚤 This place is the perfect balance – totally relaxed but with safety and professionalism at the core. 😎 If you’re looking for a spot where kiting is not just a sport but also a passion, a vibe, and a community – this is it. Oskar is an excellent instructor. His approach was very focused on making sure I actually learned and made real progress, not just went through the motions. I saw great improvement under his guidance. His teaching style and explanations were perfectly adapted to my skill level and previous experience, which made a big difference. Highly recommended!

Cezary is by far the best kite instructor I’ve ever had. He’s competent; pays close attention to what you’re doing, gives detailed advice and tailors the lesson material to meet you where you’re at. Truly the best! :) bonus, he’s really nice
