Banana Kite n Surf

Just wrapped up a 3-day course at Banana Kitesurf school and honestly couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Adam was my instructor and the guy is absolutely fantastic - super patient, really knows his stuff, and has this laid-back vibe that immediately puts you at ease. I came in as a complete beginner, pretty nervous about the whole thing if I'm being honest. But Adam broke everything down step by step, never rushed me, and always made sure I felt confident before moving on to the next skill. His teaching style is perfect - clear instructions without being overwhelming, and he's got this knack for explaining things in a way that just clicks. The equipment at Banana is top-notch too. Everything felt well-maintained and Adam made sure I had the right gear for my size and skill level. Safety was clearly a priority throughout, which as a newbie I really appreciated. We got absolutely blessed with the wind conditions - perfect throughout all three days. By the end of the course, I was riding long distances against the wind and had really solid command of the kite. Adam's enthusiasm is infectious - you can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants his students to succeed. The location is gorgeous and the whole crew at Banana has this welcoming, fun atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. Already planning my next trip! Would 100% recommend Adam and Banana Kitesurf school to anyone thinking about learning. Worth every penny.

The course took place at the Banana Kitę base in Poland on the Hel Peninsula. I must admit that it was the first time I had contact with such an advanced theoretical course. The amount of knowledge, regulations and standards was very wide. People from Poland and other nationalities took part in the course. The course was a challange, really educative and, importantly, conducted in English. My personal feelings: I am an Instructor with many years of practical experience, I have worked hundreds of hours with beginner, advanced and freestyle students, I personally conducted a Kitesurfing Instructor course for a Polish organization. I was surprised how many issues are discussed on the topics of: safety, meteorology and physics. The knowledge was very extensive and for slow learners (like most kite students) complicated. I felt overwhelmed by the amount of material and had difficulty staying focused, which is a huge problem these days. I understand that a lot of smart people devoted time and energy to creating the course manual, but in my opinion simplifying the issues or spreading the material over a longer period of training, e.g. online, would be a good idea. I missed creative cutscenes, movement exercises or longer rest breaks. I think that much more time can be devoted to the practical, relaxing and exercise part. In my opinion, the methodology also lacks a certain consistency and result, but this is a topic in which many views flow. The lecturer Maciej is very experienced and involved, often exchanging views with the participants. Banana base prepared and equipped in a cool atmosphere. The knowledge gained during the course is very useful, expanding horizons and allowing you to look at your workshop from a different perspective.

The course really helped me to expand my knowledge about all aspects of kitesurfing and teaching . Our examiner Maciek is a fantastic teacher , extremely professional and has a great attitude towards his students . I will highly recommend Banana kite and surf school to everyone. I am very happy that I chose this course and Maciek as examiner .

Mateusz was a fantastic trainer! Professional, fair and enthusiastic in inspiring all of his students. I learnt so much more than what i expected and enjoyed every part of the course. He went above and beyond for his students and we became a team. I highly recommend Mateusz and Banana kite and surf for all students who are serious about their ATC. Also, I will return to them for my Instructor level 1 course soon. Banana is the best!!!

From many teachers in many countries on many different sports Maciej is the no 1. It doesn't matter the conditions, he always makes me comfortable and I make with him the biggest progress. Highly recommend!!!

The course was amazing! Super nice atmosphere at the kite-center, highly professional examiner Maciej, always with open and positive attitude, and answers to all questions! It seems to me that we learned incredibly a lot during the course) it was full of new interesting material and lots if fun!

Asia is a great teacher. Thanks to her I learned a lot and really quickly. She explains everything very well and answers all your questions. The atmosphere is really pleasant. I can highly reccomend her and the school.

I did the course with a great pleasure. The instructors are nice, friendly but most of all precise and take care of safety at every step. They made me very aware of any threats during the course. The atmosphere was great :)

Great positive people. I felt safe in the water with kite and there was a lot of Focus on safety overall. Each teaching step was clear and we MOVER to the next only if the hardest version of easier excercise was fulfilled.
