Kiteboarding Bonaire

Tijdens de eerste les dacht ik dat het me nooit zou lukken, maar door het geduld en de goede uitleg van Rommel is het me gelukt om te staan en een stukje te varen. Ik ga dit zeker thuis weer oppakken!

Onze instructeur Rommel heeft in een korte tijd van 5 lessen ons leren kiten met vertrouwen en plezier. Hij heeft veel geduld met ons gehad en heeft al onze vragen beantwoord en zelfs ook gedemonstreerd. Wij hebben het ontzettend naar ons zin gehad en gaan zeker verder met ons kite avontuur en komen nog een keer terug!

The instructors are confident, relaxed, and incredibly trustworthy, creating a calm and motivating learning environment. The gear is excellent, and having a boat alongside makes you feel safe at all times. The teaching is top-notch – they never lose sight of you, give clear, listen to your questions and give tailored tips. The land-based intro was so well explained that getting on the water felt natural. Also the environment is absolutely incredible. Highly recommended! Would come back 100%

I have tried a few lessons in the pass and they were ok but nothing like the support and level of instruction that I experienced in Kiteboading Bonaire. Everyday before the lesson I was informed of the plan for that day and instructions before getting in the water and once in the water my instructor with the boat support system provided me constant corrections to improve and progress my Kiteboading technique. I can not be happier with my progress. This was going to be the last time I was going to try to learn Kiteboading and know I think I’m hooked for life. Rommel and all the team at Kiteboading Bonaire also made me feel as part of the Kiteboading community, the school vibe is super chill, the nature and the water that surrounds the school is amazing, I even encounter a sea turtle while Kiteboading. I can say so much more but don’t want to make this review too long. Beside learning to Kite I leaving Bonaire with great memories and kite knowledge. I can’t ask for more.

Romel was a very calm and patient instructor. I felt safe in the water and he took good care of me. He gave tips so I could do as much as I could on my own. It felt great to ride over the water for the first time.

Kiteboarding Bonaire took me step by step through this course. With practical explanations and examples that worked for me to become independent quickly. Very relaxed vibe on the spot with helpful, interested and very nice people.

I had a kite course with Myles in Bonaire. I can kite already but I took a kite lesson with Myles to feel more confident while kiting. Myles is really relaxed and knows what he is doing. He gives good advice and, important for me, knows how to put you at ease.

Goede begeleiding door de instructeur in een volgboot. Er zijn ook filmpjes gemaakt met mijn eigen go pro als feedback materiaal. Heel gaaf. Het upwind kiten goed kunnen oefenen omdat we met de boot terug konden naar het startpunt als we te ver afdreven. Dat was heel fijn. Scheelt een hoop tijd van je les die je anders over het strand moet lopen. Goede oefeningen gekregen om te verbeteren. Goed materiaal en fijn zwemvest.

I had a blast kitesurfing with Floor. It was my first experience ever and I had long waited to do it for years. Floor, my instructor, was decided to get me riding since the first hour and she showed excellent skills swimming, couching, rescuing and being there for me every minute. I felt very safe and protected since she was looking at me all the time. Having my lessons with a boat was very helpful and I would always recommend it to any begynner. Thank you again Floor.

At Bonaire it was my first introduction to kiteboarding. The instructors are professional and patient. They gave me a familiar feeling. Changes in taking classes is not a problem. I have had so much fun at the kiteboarding school. I will continue my kiteboarding in my home country.
