The 414 Kiting team has 14 years experience of teaching kitesurfing on Lake Como and are committed to providing the highest level of kitesurf tuition to their clients. At 414, the kit you learn on is kit you will be able to ride all the way through your kiting career, making your progression faster. 414 are committed to teaching in a safe environment, and to that end only teach from RIBs (motor boats) in the safety of the center of the lake. 414 put your progression and safety as their top priorities at all times, and are fully IKO (International Kiteboarding Association) endorsed.

The team was really nice! We were two beginners and three couches. Two of them were with us in the water to teach us various techniques and the third instructor was overseeing us from the boat. I felt really supported and in good hands in general. The only downside was a rather long boattrip to our kite spot and back to the school but we used the time for theory lessons and a really nice smalltalk :) I would recommend the school to anyone who would like to learn kitesurfing!

We had three days of kiting where there was not enough wind for most of the time. Our instructors die their best to get us to the best spots to find wind. Luckily they succeeded and we had a good kitesession on each of the days. The equippment was brandnew and we improved our kiting very fast. I would recomend the kiteschool to everyone as we always felt very save and vibe was great threwout the course. thank you very much!

I had a perfect training session at Lago di Como. Was able to practise my skills with the support of my instructor Mike (Michal), who gave me tips and hints while watching my performances from the boat. I highly recommend Lago di Como and Kite414!

I spent 3 days with the 414 Kite School and gained a lot of confidence thanks to targeted teaching and lots of exercise time. This was only possible because we were kiting from a boat and had Chris who predicted the winds very well. Also really appreciated the team's flexibility in accommodating different time slots (dictated by the wind) and the brand-new equipment.

All instructors of 414Kiting I experienced were really good. They helped me progress as I needed it. The course and time on the water was perfeclty organized to have plenty of time in the water! The groups were always small, so the instructors had a good eye on us. Thanks for all your tips and patience, I had a great time

I was fully satisfied with 414. The trainer was absolutely fantastic, motivated, hard-working and always trying to find the best way to help us relate better to what he teaches. I managed to progress much better than I expected, and I always felt safe. On a day with weak winds, the school tried hard to find a spot where we can still train, but when it proved unsuccessful at the end they did not ask for payment, a very big positive. All in all, I can only recommend them and Zoltan.

I enjoyed 3 wonderful days with a high experienced instructor. It was easy to see, that it’s not only a Job to him, but a passion. I made quite fast progresses in this course and look forward to do another one.

Karo broke the water start movement down into two steps that made it really intuitive and easy to follow. I had been having issues getting out of the water (albeit in different conditions as I started learning in Seawater with high winds and this was in lake in low wind) but found my feet quickly in this lesson. The school is very well run, having 5 instructor boats out at once also means there is always someone to help if youre in a sticky situation. Though Karo was very attentive and never needed anyone else to intervene.
