I honestly think the 2 courses were amazing. I not only learned so much....but the experience as a whole was really really good. I was expecting it to be good but I didn't think it would be this good. It surpassed my expectations. I feel safe teaching now and I have a lot of knowledge thanks to this course. Daniele, the examiner, was very kind and understanding but he also was strict. We could all easily tell that he really wanted to make sure we understand the ethic behind the IKO principals. We had a great 10 days with him but also stressful at times due to the fact that he was really pushing all of us in the right direction. He is a very kind person but when it comes to the decisions he has to make.... he would put all the good feeling aside and decide based on actual facts. The proof to that is that I successfully passed the course but the examiner decided I need to teach a total of 20 hours shadowed by an IKO level 2 instructor before I am allowed to teach on my own. Daniele explained to me the reasons behind his choice and I totally understand and respect his decision. I really want to be a good instructor and represent the IKO. These 20 hours will allow me to do so. I am very happy I decided to take this course and will recommend it to other people in the future. Thanks.

I knew the IKO course was going to be good but it actually surpassed my expectations. Daniele is a great examiner. Very professional, very clear with all his explanations and also very respectful. Very patient and willing to explain things in many different way so that we could all understand. He would move on to the next topic only after making sure everyone in the room was up to speed and on the same page. I was actually very impressed by him and I really enjoyed the course a lot. I consider the IKO stadards very high and already recommended the course to several people.

Great experience and excellent instructor. We had the opportunity to study and learn through interactive exercises and took time and space for debate, while tackling the huge amount of theoretical content. Daniele adapted to each of us and respetive needs as individuals, as much as to the dynamic of the full group. Feedback was always accurate and pedagogical.

It has been a very positive experience, Daniele has been attentive at all times so that we did not lack anything, his way of teaching is very didactic and has made us strive and progress in an agile way

As for the ATC, the manual needs huge re-working. It's clumsy, information is hard to come by because it does not follow a logical thread. Also, while I subscribe to the IKO teaching method, trying to squeeze everything into the 8 responsibilities is kinda silly, as many things are just repetitions Honestly, I feel the ITC needs to be at least 9 days long, with more practice sessions with real students and less theoretical stuff.
