I've been kiting with Kainetic for the past 4 years. Danny and crew run a fun, safe, and comprehensive school where they breakdown the basics for beginners and get you up and riding upwind after one or two lessons. They offer advanced classes after you are a competent, independent rider as well. Kite island where they run the school is an excellent location with knee to waist deep, mostly flat water for learning and progressing. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start kiting or wanting to have a great session on the island.

Instructors are very knowledgeable and safety-oriented. The lesson format makes it very easy to quickly learn and retain skills, and is great for beginners trying to become independent and stay upwind as well as intermediate/advanced riders who want to expand their skills. Everyone is also super friendly and welcoming.

I can’t say anything more then wow. Danny and his crew were amazing. They took care of me and made me feel at home. I was learning so much on my own time. Danny knows how to run a good class can’t wait for my next one

The use of radios for communication between instructor and pupil and the availability of various kites are a real bonus that kainetic provides. Such valuable tools to enable fast progress. The coaching is excellent and the extended time on the water provides exactly what you need to make solid progress in the lesson.

Kainetic Adventures, led by Danny, is a fantastic team who really care about your learning in the safest and most efficient way possible. Danny took me through a step by step progression that had me comfortable and riding downwind by the end of the lesson. I cannot wait to continue on my journey and am so excited that we have a TOP school right in NJ. Kite Island provides lots of shallow area and consistent wind excellent for learning and experienced riders. I highly recommend!

Danny runs a great school. When he says the winds are going to be good. They are good. Patient, clear instruction with headsets. Very happy with the progress I have been making. The kite surfing spot itself is pretty remote (kite island), so you need to bring whatever creature comforts you want.

Danny at Kainetic was an incredible instructor getting me from beginner to riding (just about!) in 5 hours. The spot is perfect for learning (or riding if you can) and everything was made very easy. Danny made the lesson fun, safe and is dedicated to the lesson so you get maximum learning time. Worth every penny and more. If you want to learn, I can highly, highly recommend this. Thanks!

Danny and Carl at Kainetic did a great job with the instruction. Had taken a few lessons other places as well. Was really working on getting up on the board and staying in control. They had good tips and plenty of patience. Wind was strong and changed through the day, but they had plenty of gear to adapt to the conditions. I’ll be back. Only thing to be aware of is that Kite Island is quite remote. Anything you want, you should bring. The seagulls aren’t selling food, drink etc :-)

Kite Island provides an exceptional venue for boarding with consistent winds, no chop, and a large area. Its really amazing! The service from Kainetic Adventures is top notch providing instruction, equipment and access to this remote area.
