Ilona Zbinova

I took a 6-hour refresher course with Ilona after 13 hours of lessons with her five months ago. Thanks to her clear guidance and focus on safety, I was able to ride independently by the end of the course. Ilona really helped me trust myself, and now I feel confident to ride on my own. I hope to meet her again in the future. Highly recommend taking lessons with Ilona, her teaching truly made the difference!

Ilona Zbinova is the best kite instuctor!!! She is really great,very nice and patient.she managed to tech me even very difficult trics that i was afraid of gradually,step by step,which is a huge victory for me.the most important thing for me is to learn safely,gradually,with understanding,so that i am not afraid and the final trick i learnt is completely natural for me. I really appreciate that if she see that i have difficulty with some basic-she explain me it again and teach me,so i am safe and can progress. Ilona is perfectly able to encourage and facilitate learning individually for each student. And because she chooses the best specific type of learning for each student,the student learns and retains everything much faster. Learning kiting with Ilona is amazing, a lot of fun and energizing. Kitepower El Gouna is the best kite school with the largest range of equipment and everything is in perfect condition. So I can ride comfortable from strongest to the lightest wind (this time from 9,45-27 knots). They are also very safety focused-from tracking and checking the number of hours on equipment,vests,helmets and special orange t-shirts for students,so everybody can see them in water. Also the number of minutes of the lesson,remaining time from course,the rental is very clear and is recorded electronically and the student verifies this by signing after each lesson.

I had the pleasure of taking kitesurfing lessons with Ilona. After a rough start with kitesurfing in the past, I was a bit hesitant, but Ilona changed my experience. From the moment we started, her patience, professionalism, and kindness made me feel at ease. She was incredibly motivating and tailored each lesson to my needs, helping me build my confidence back on the water. I learned how to manage different wind conditions. Her clear instructions and calm approach helped me progress quickly, and I felt more in control than ever before. Kite Power is truly a special place, great vibes and amazing people! If you’re looking to learn or improve your kitesurfing skills, I highly recommend Ilona and the team. I’ll definitely be coming back! 10/10 experience!

Perfect area with the shallow waters, the way lessons are split in 1,5h is not overwhelming. Ilona is a great teacher, she spares no effort and really shares the student's joy of learning :)
