Carlos understands the through process of a student in a way that is first class. He gives freedom for growth while encouraging you to push beyond what you think you can do. Its a low pressure fun experience while still getting things done. Its very professional and common sense and I would recommend his and his schools services to anyone.

Carlos is an amazing instructor, made everything so clear and easy for me during lessons. I also had Ed, as he was doing his internship hours to become and certified instructor, he was super helpful as well.

Lessons at Zu were excellent. They were very helpful and patient providing great advice and training. They continue to offer tips and tricks when I see them at the beach and are always super friendly and approachable.

After struggling to progress with getting up on the board, I had a lesson with Carlos from The Zu Boardsports. He gave me just the right pointers to get me up and going on my own. A relaxed lesson with a super friendly and supportive instructor (even when I had "stupid" questions or couldn't tell left from right) made all the difference for me. I highly recommend The Zu Boardsports team for anyone to learn with!

What can I say. The Zu boardsports are the best. Genuine people and most importantly amazing instructors. I had Carlos as my primary instructor and I had such a good time with him as my teacher. He was really humorous and was a very interactive instructor. I don’t how I would’ve dreamed of learning without him. I also had some other instructors at the Zu and they were all really good aswelll. The facilities weren’t the best however in saying that they were still very good. In general I had an amazing time at the Zu.

Carlos and Zu Boardsports made learning to kite so easy and fun. I felt safe and I’m confident now to go out on my own. The course progressed at a really comfortable pace and I was up and riding on my third lesson. Looking forward to improving my skills now. Thanks so much!

I can certainly recommend Carlos and his team: I had several instructors but he clearly was the best and focused most on making sure you were all prepped and aware of all details before finishing the course.
